1. Information We Collect
KreateFlo collects minimal data necessary to operate the service:
- License Data: License key, device fingerprint (hashed hardware ID), activation timestamps.
- Plugin Usage and Error Reports:Which tools you use and when, errors the plugin runs into, the plugin version, your operating system, your host app (Premiere Pro or After Effects), and a random ID for your installation. If your copy is activated, reports are linked to your license by an internal ID, along with your plan and license status, so we can see which customers a problem affects. File paths, email addresses and project or sequence names are removed from error messages before anything is sent, and no audio, video or project content is ever collected. This is on by default, and you can turn it off in the plugin's Settings.
- Website Analytics: Pages you visit and the site that sent you there, links and buttons you click on our public pages, your browser and device type, and errors the site runs into. If you are signed in, this is linked to your account by an internal ID. We do not record your screen.
- Contact Information: Email and name if you contact us or subscribe to our newsletter.
We can match those internal IDs back to your license or account, so we treat these reports as personal data. PostHog, which we use for product analytics, only ever sees the ID: it never receives your name, email address, license key or IP address.
2. How We Use Your Data

- Finding and fixing errors, and seeing which customers they affect so we can help
- Responding to support requests
- Sending product updates (if subscribed)
3. Third-Party Services
KreateFlo uses these services that process data on our behalf:
- Supabase: License management and analytics storage
- Netlify: Website hosting and API proxying
- PostHog: Product analytics and error tracking for the plugin and website (receives the reports described above, linked only by internal IDs)
- Google Analytics: Website visit statistics
- Google Gemini: AI transcription and content analysis (audio data processed temporarily, not stored)
- Deepgram: Cloud transcription (audio processed temporarily)
Some of these services store data outside your country, including in the United States.
4. Cookies
Our website uses a cookie to keep you signed in. PostHog stores a random ID in a cookie and in your browser's local storage so it can tell repeat visits apart, and Google Analytics sets its own cookies to count visits.
5. Local Processing
Whisper AI transcription runs entirely on your local machine. No audio data is sent to any server when using local transcription mode.
6. Data Retention
License data is retained as long as your account is active. Usage and error reports are kept for up to 12 months. You can request data deletion at any time by contacting us.
7. Your Rights
You can turn off plugin usage and error reports in the plugin's Settings page. You can request data export or deletion, or object to analytics, by emailing us at support@kreateflo.com.
